SuperMagicFunTrip

homieface

Before anyone was interested in The End of Fun, back when it was still called "The Fun Trip," and I'd come to the conclusion that no one was ever going to publish it, I decided to release it as an interactive online book. So I designed a website, supermagicfuntrip.com (warning: audio).

I decided to do everything by myself—images, animation, web design, sound design (!), writing—and it took forever. After I'd published 13 interactive chapters, I got an offer from Hyperion to publish the book in print, so I mothballed the site; it still exists online as a relic of an earlier version of what ultimately became The End of Fun.

Check out Chapter One here.
